We told you about how much we love Poofy in general, and if I had to pick one Poofy Organics product that is my absolute favorite it would be the Medieval Blend All Purpose Organic Cleaner.   The reason why I'd pick this product as my favorite is because I just can't believe there is a cleaner that contains safe ingredients that I can breath while I clean.  Not only can you breathe them in, but it smells so good and the product actually cleans well, even mirrors without streaks!  Bu-bye nasty Windex.   

All of my life, cleaners have had a terrible smell, have  been known to make me cough and gag, and have even made me feel lightheaded.  Sometimes I've held my breath while cleaning the shower, or opened a window because the chemicals in some cleaners are so toxic and unhealthy that breathing them in made me feel sick on the spot.  Because I grew up with cleaners like this, I assumed it was OK that they made me sick as strange as that sounds.  I can't believe I thought that.  And would I want to hand over those kinds of chemicals to my sweet little daughter that wants to help mommy clean?  Ummmmm no, definitely not.  And that's exactly what happened to me one day.  My daughter asked if she could help me clean and as I was about to hand over the Windex to her I was like, wait a second no.  It felt wrong.  Now I can hand her the Medieval All Purpose spray bottle and not worry at all.  She also likes the smell.

How does it compare to conventional?

Poofy sells the Medieval All Purpose Cleaner in 2 sizes.  They sell a 16 oz spray bottle for $10, but the best deal is purchasing the 4 oz concentrated bottle that makes 16 spray bottles worth of cleaner for $25. If you do that it works out to $1.57 per 16 oz. of cleaner. Windex ranges from $3 to $4 for a 32oz. bottle ($1.50-$2 per 16oz.), so at worst Poofy's alternative will cost you the same price if not save you a few cents.  

As an added bonus, you won't be spraying ammonium hydroxide all over your house - a chemical known to cause severe eye and skin damage, not to mention being extremely toxic to aquatic life when it inevitably makes it's way down your drain.  

I use Medieval All Purpose Cleaner on my counter tops every day, and on my shower, mirrors and glass too.  It's definitely a great cleaner but it's important to note that although it removes dirt, it doesn't kill "germs".  Poofy suggests using vinegar or peroxide for that.

This has become a staple product in our home and we would highly recommend you give it a try. For a lot of people all-natural organic products just don't fit in the budget, but in this case you are getting a safe organic alternative for the same price or less than the conventional alternative.
